Links House, Bowral

Getting out of the city for the weekend is always an appealing idea, the challenge is often where to go that doesn’t involve hours and hours of driving. Links House Hotel is a lush and cozy retreat, ideal for a weekend escape. Originally built in 1928, Links House Hotel offers country comfort and a great golf course view – which also means you can see the stars at night if you stroll along the road. The restaurant is good enough to make you stay in for dinner and breakfast and the DVD collection available also induces laziness. There are drinks served in the sitting room which includes a fireplace which is lit in winter. All-in-all, this makes for a lovely weekend away, enhanced if you go to Berkelouw Book Barn near Berrima for lunch.
