The NSW South Coast offers a peaceful stretch of coastal towns and holiday spots. A recent trip took in Bawley Point, South Durras, Batemans Bay, Malua Bay, Camel Rock and Bermagui, all around 4-5 hours drive from Sydney. As you would expect, the pace of life here is different with fishing, surfing, swimming and generally relaxing the order of the day. Camel Rock and South Durras provided the best surfing conditions on this trip, with Mister Jones in Bermagui the best coffee. The main photo is of the Moruya River at dawn, bottom left is Camel Rock with McKenzies Beach at dusk bottom right.
