The Devonshire, Jeremy Bentley’s Surry Hills restaurant, has to offer one of the best value fixed-price lunches in Sydney. Available on Friday’s, the menu comprises a three course menu for $35. As with their regular menu, the cooking is excellent, comprising an imaginative mix of ingredients that work well together, progressing nicely through entree, main and dessert.
Prior to opening The Devonshire, Jeremy worked at the two Michelin starred restaurant The Square in Mayfair (London) before returning to Australia to work with Matt Kemp at Restaurant Balzac. The Devonshire Restaurant is located in converted terrace house on Devonshire Street and features a relaxed atmosphere and excellent service. The Devonshire’s philosophy is to bring ‘seriously good, inventive food to Surry Hill’s restaurant scene that is both accessible and affordable’. Now that is something we can all enjoy.
