Vivid Sydney is on again with a spectacular light show throughout the city and along the harbour foreshore. The highlight for me this year was the ‘Lighting of the Sails’ by Audio Creatures. Using the Sydney Opera House as a blank canvas, this installation simulates pulsating sea creatures, bright bird-plumage and the iridescent plant life of an organo-mechanistic future.
