Chiswick, Woollahra

Chiswick is a superb casual dining venue co-owned by Matt Moran and Peter Sullivan. Beautifully situated in the upscale Sydney suburb of Woollahra, Chiswick’s menu reflects the owners emphasis on great seasonal produce. The iconic restaurant site (formerly Pruniers) provides a lovely light-filled space, with a contemporary dining room and large communal tables.

The cocktail list is solid with The Chiswick Mule (Belvedere vodka, kaffir lime, lemon grass and ginger beer) being particularly refreshing on a hot summers day. It is the food, however, that really shines at Chiswick with dishes of chicken parfait, crisp chicken crackling, date chutney and daikon, salad of roast beetroot, blood orange, pecorino and mint, chargrilled calamari, capers, guindilla peppers with squid ink and crispy fried quail, lime, shallots and ginger all providing a treat for the tastebuds.
